Meet Sarah.
Sarah has been in ministry for around 20 years. She's been involved in short term missions, inner city outreach, church planting and various aspects of prayer and healing ministries. She has a doctorate degree in biblical theology and is a certified life coach. She began to get really passionate about inner healing when God radically set her free from years of bondage that she had been carrying for far too long. Now she longs to see others walk in that very freedom that God has for them. God has cultivated Sarah’s to love people and love them hard. Her heart is to keep building a community where there's always a place at the table for everyone. Sarah is a dreamer and big idea guy. She presents multiple big ideas to her husband every day. Thankfully Zach is a gracious and patient man. He has built her a hot tub, sauna and often comes home without knowing to a house filled with people. Sarah's happy place is going off grid to their northern pa hunting cabin and thrifting for the next unique treasure.
Inner Healing Life Coach
An inner healing life coach is a trained guide who partners with clients to identify and resolve internal emotional, mental, and spiritual conflicts that may be preventing them from walking in wholeness. They create a safe, non-judgmental, and often sacred space where individuals can process past wounds and negative beliefs, enabling them to move forward with greater authenticity, emotional resilience, and self-awareness.
This ministry approach views the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and spirit—as one interconnected design rather than isolated issues. Scripture teaches that God created humanity in His image as mind, body, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12; Matthew 22:37). In order to walk in wholeness, individuals are encouraged to seek God’s help in healing and sanctifying every part of their being.
Through this healing ministry, the coach helps clients uncover underlying, often subconscious, roots of present struggles—such as shame, guilt, offense, unforgiveness, lack of repentance, and judgment toward others. The goal is freedom, as Scripture affirms God’s desire for His people to walk free from condemnation and bondage (Psalm 34:5; Romans 8:1; 1 John 1:9; Psalm 103:12; Matthew 6:14–15; 7:1–2; Luke 6:37; Mark 11:25–26).
Unlike traditional life coaching, which primarily focuses on future goals and often avoids the past, or counseling, which may concentrate more heavily on processing past pain, inner healing life coaching integrates elements of both. It seeks healing from past wounds while also encouraging forward movement through practical, action-oriented steps. This approach helps individuals avoid becoming stuck in past hurts while building a purposeful, faith-filled future.
An inner healing life coach does not function as a licensed therapist and does not diagnose or label mental health disorders. Instead, the coach aims to empower clients in their personal relationship with God and in applying biblical truth to their lives, fostering greater identity and sonship as children of God. Coach and client work together to develop practical steps that integrate renewed, healthier beliefs into daily living.
This ministry is led by the Holy Spirit, relying on Him as Helper, Teacher, Comforter, and Counselor (John 14:16, 26; 15:26; Romans 8:26), trusting Him to guide the healing and transformation process.
